First he completed an apprenticeship as electrician, then he studied electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and marketing. We are talking about Stephan Bachmann, Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. (FH), who will support our Technical Sales.

In the past, Stephan Bachmann (33) was able to gain experiences about how to manage customized projects and joined us directly from the ventilator industry. „A fan is an interesting combination between electrical engineering and mechanical engineering“, explained Bachmann motivated.

In his leisure time, he enjoys walking and cycling in the Black Forest. Afterwards, he likes to sit in a comfortable beer garden with some friends playing Skat.

With next system, we won a partner with experience in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Slovakia. With the now possible better communication in the corresponding national languages and the local contact, we would like to improve our services for our customers and intensify our activities in these countries.

A powerful earthquake has hit Japan´s north-east coast and caused damages with substantial extend. Fortunately, there were no injuries to Nippon Keiki Works, LTD. employees and no damage to their buildings.

However, the degree of damage cannot be realized at the moment. Even if Nippon Keiki Works produces nearly exclusively outside of Japan, some components are produced by Japanese sub-suppliers. At the moment, we do not know how far our deliveries will be affected in future. Please do not hesitate to contact us for questions regarding availability of fans.

The innovative fan supplier SEPA EUROPE GmbH presents two new micro-fans which can hardly be excelled in relation to smallness and precision. Despite the small size of only 10x10x2mm, the axial fan moves 1.1 l air per minute. The turbo fan is just as small, reaches a pressure of 7 Pa and has a power consumption of only 165 mW (3.3 VDC)! Due to a typical noise of 1.6 dB(A), these fans are actually inaudible. In addition, the fans dispose of a pulse output with 3 pulses per rotation. The dwarfish fans have sleeve bearings and a FPC-connector system.
During this half-year, the fans will be available serially.

Several SEPA fans will be replaced by models of the new generation by the end of 2007. The new fans save considerably energy and have a significantly higher output at the same time.

Environmental awareness becomes ever more important. Also for construction units with relatively small power input, the power demand adds up. Particularly in installa-tions with multiple fans, the envirnomental stress can considerably be reduced thanks of components with higher efficiency. The SEPA DC-fans of the new generation save considerably energy and have a significantly higher output at the same time. An output, starting from 2.1 mW per 1 liter sets new standards. The improvement was reached by new fan blades, higher motor efficiency and relatively small noise production. The SEPA DC-fans of the new generation are available ex stock in different sizes (from 15x15x8 mm to 60x60x15 mm) and in the standard voltages 5, 12 and 24 VDC.

One of our most important targets is to effect shipment of SEPA standard fans to customers within shortest time. This can only be achieved by adopting our logistics to the constantly increasing need of fans and accessories.
Starting on January 2007 we enlarged our office and stock capacity in Freiburg as well as our external depot. By this we are sure we can fulfil are requirements of the growing market within next years.

DC fans have distinct advantages compared with AC fans: 3-4 x lower power input, lighter in weight, wider range, easy to control, simple function monitoring as well as higher life expectancy due to lower inherent heat.
In many cases, however, only mains voltage is available. With a simple yet inexpensive ballast for standard DC fans, SEPA Europe GmbH now offers the solution to this problem. With the LMV12W12, a special miniature switched-mode power supply individual or several DC fans can be operated simultaneously up to a total power input of 12 Watt with an alternating voltage of 176 to 264 VAC. The DC output is both idling and short-circuit proof. The entire efficiency coefficient is only marginally lower than that of the DC fan alone. The price of fans plus power unit is equivalent to that of a high-quality AC fan. For supplying several DC fans, this solution is in fact cheaper than with AC fans.

Time-saving production of electronic devices is of vital importance for the efficiency of a company and in turn for the price of a product. Prewired and tested components can save installation times. In addition to the extensive range of AC and DC fans, SEPA EUROPE GmbH also offers its products already prewired to meet customer-specific requirements. The correct plug is selected and the desired pin assignment established together with the customer. This frequently requested service is provided irrespective of the offered quantity. An integral part of the corporate philosophy of SEPA EUROPE is to offer more than "just" the fan. The customer receives support not only in matters concerning the product but on all issues relating to the cooling of electronic components and their installation to ensure quiet operation.

Flexibility and high availability of our products are significant factors of our corporate philosophy. Thanks to our large warehouses at two sites in Freiburg, we are able to supply many standard fans and accessories immediately. Products range from 15mm miniature fans to 172mm fans and are complemented by a wide spectrum of radial fans and accessories, e.g. finger guard, power units, control electronics, etc. It goes without saying that our services also include the provision of OEM solutions in cooperation with the customer or optimised fan cooling. Orders of stocked goods received before 12 h are delivered on the same day.

The SEPA miniature pump announced in August 2005, will be available from March 2006 onwards. Product data and dimensions of the latest design have only altered slightly:
The pump delivery rate remains at 750ml/min, the max. pressure at 11.5 kPa. The noise emission of 17 dB(A) is comparably low. To improve mounting stability, boreholes have been provided in the housing base. The service life of the pump (L10) is 95000h.

Where space is limited and DC fans are unsuitable, this fan is small but mighty: The 60x60x30mm AC fan manufactured by Costech®. With 230VAC, only 5W overall output and an airflow of 14m^3/h, the fan propeller thus provides your application with the necessary fresh air. The silent-running AC fan has both CE and UL approvals.

In addition to high-quality fans and CPU coolers, SEPA EUROPE GmbH also offers appropriate, inexpensive guards for different requirements. In addition to the simple wire finger guards, our delivery program also includes plastic dust guards with a replaceable 45ppi filter medium.
Two different shapes of guards are available for EMC sensitive applications; a close-meshed metal guard and a simple, coarse-meshed guard that can be combined with the above-mentioned plastic dust guard.
